Ardine Spitters (France)
Ardine throws all her pots. After polishing, the work is fired on 1050 C. Then follows a treatment with sulfates en firing in saw-mill, a technique called "pit-fire". The combination of heat, smoke and sulfates gives very lively shades of colour, with a reminiscense of marble and stone.
